    Each case of these abrasive points contains 1000 individual pieces, packaged in inner boxes of 100 for easy inventory management.

  3. Can this tapered cone point be used with hand-held tools or do I need to use a specific machine attachment?

    This tapered cone point can work with either a hand-held rotary tool with a collet or it can be used with larger fixed machines that offer enough torque.

Standard Abrasives™ Aluminum Oxide Tapered Cone Point allows users to easily access hard-to-reach areas and internal diameters, as well as deburr holes in the workpiece. The cone shape sets it apart from cylindrical cartridge rolls.

Tapered Cone Points are commonly used in critical production and maintenance operations, as well as low-pressure blending, polishing, cleaning, and deburring. They offer easy accessibility to tight areas for more precise grinding. Tapered Cone Points can attach to mandrels of varying lengths to match the application. The sizing codes are:

  • K-110: 1 x .18 inch
  • F-60: 1.5 x .62 inch
  • B-20: 1.5 x .31 inch
  • C-30: 2 x .37 inch
  • D-40: 2.5 x .4375 inch

Standard Abrasives™ Aluminum Oxide Tapered Cone Point is made with aluminum oxide, which fragments under heat and pressure to reveal sharp cutting edges.
